Greg is a 20 year member of Leads and says that he is still making about $20,000 a year from Leads that he received during the first 5 years of his membership. He is proud of his relatships with the members of his chapter and, at this meeting, he was given the trophy for the most Leads given (5 outside.)

Greg is also the current Coordinator and, at the end of the meeting, he asked indivual members who were in attendence to contact specific members who were not in attendence to let them know they were missed. I have never heard this being done in any of my chapters. I was impressed by the committment Greg showed to the well being of the chapter in making this request.

Again, I learn so much from the fabulous professionals who are members of Leads Clubs. Thank you, Greg.

Terry Busse of Golden Year Organizational Services and the Chapter Director did an amazing job of getting the members enrolled and organized. I attended their regular meeting the week prior to the mixer and Terre went through a list that included everthing from drinks to snacks, set up, raffle prizes and she had volunteers and team leaders for each item on the list. Each member stepped up to organize, greet, follow up, be spokeswoman – it was a joy to be with them.

There were at least 25 visitors, a packed house, all hand picked as potential members for their chapter or possible members for the newest chapter in the area. I spoke with 3 women who planned to visit the next regular meeting (7:15 AM the next morning)and 1 who spoke with Kat Lessin,Chapter Consultnat for the Oxnard Co Ed chapter about visiting that chapter.

I learned a lot from these women about how to do a Mixer right and I promise to share it with the other chapters in the Central Coast region.

We heard from Gina Fiedel of Fat Eyes Design, www.fateyes.com who spoke about ‘finding your spot and being open to it being different than your original idea.”  I was very moved and grateful to have been at the meeting to hear her joy and wisdom.  Joyce Carlisle, Personal Trainer, www.FitnessCoach.biz who did a show and tell (with member/volunteer Dr. Crystal Galvan with Crystal Chiropractic, www.dr-cc.com ) of how to properly work shoulders, upper back and arm.  I found it very informative to have the body posture demonstrated for each of these.  Sloane Reali, Certified Vocal Coach, www.vocalcoachingbysloane.com who had us breathing, toning (high, low and middle) and appreciating that “if we can talk, we can sing” and how empowering that can be for us.

Trophy presentation went to Sarah Wildwood of Prudential California Realty, www.SarahWildwood.com for giving the most Leads, 8 outside – great job Sarah.

Rock on Rock Stars!

Our speaker today was Dani Piola with Zen Diva Spa, www.zendivaspa.com  who spoke about and demostrated the Galvanic Spa treatment on one half of member, Steve Douglas of Golf Tec, face.  It was quite amazing, the difference was easy to see in just 10 minutes.  Even Steve had to say he looked much ‘prettier’ – at least half of him did.

There were two visitors, Matt Clark with Global Information Network and Rodney Watson with Unique Movers.

Jessica Rae with Santa Barbara Axxess, www.sbaxxess.com was awarded the trophy for 4 outside Leads  and Charlie Mitchell, Republic Lighting Services, www.charlietheelectrician.com was my choice for Spotlight member.  Charlie is very near a perfect Leads member, bringing in visitors, supporting the membership in their businesses and giving gratitude for the Leads he receives.  He also support his chapter at other networking events, announcing the business categories the chapter is actively looking  for to join their membership.
